My progress as of now...

You know, I may have been like that one kid in the corner that solves rubik's cubes who didn't really care about all this... But... I have been working with my IB Coordinator in order to create some day where all the IB and Pre-IB students at my school talk about CAS. No not like some huge discussion. We get people who have gone internationally over the summer about volunteering ideas, and people like us, who went to this meeting and came up with projects. During this "IB night" we proposed to do a fair type thing, where we set up poster boards and show our ideas and what is to come if our idea spreads. The day has been approved by the faculty and I was hoping to get more information about our group, "Awareness To Action". Seeing how we came up with it, but did not really go into further detail about what we might be doing and future planned events. Since we're all seperated, we can't come up with an idea that we all can work on (technically we can) but, we did not. Also, we are also planning on doing something with Peace One Day, and with other schools in Oregon, I proposed the idea, if we are near an area called Delta Park, we could gather the schools up there and arrange a soccer match between the schools or a mix of people in different schools. So if you're in the Oregon area and would like to do this, arrange an assembly at your school or some way of telling people about Peace One Day and if the Delta Park game pulls through, I'll tell you when to meet there and where to find the schools, etc.
